Across the Pond [that’s in the UK] - Skittles is running its own ‘low latency’ campaign in the vein of Old Spice Guy.
In fact it’s very similar indeed.
Except on Facebook.
You post an update on their Fbook wall, they make a video of someone in the Skittles call centre reading it out and post it on your wall.
I like this a lot conceptually – it plays well into the “do more things faster” thing we’ve been talking about – but just reading out the updates isn’t as funny as the ‘scripted improv’ of Isaiah in the Shower.
That said – for the hundreds of individuals they are making films for – it’s personal relevant [branded] content begging to be shared.
